Refran: "Ancient stories being passed down from person to person improving its fear."
Card Description: none
Student Biography: My name is Marco Antonio Vasquez E. I was born in Salinas, California. I am the eldest son in my family and a senior at Santa Maria High School. After high school I hope to go to UCLA or UC Santa Cruz in which I will major in art and I will be first generation in my family to go to a university. Through my artwork I want to give the people the same bone chilling experience just the same as how a person would feel when they see a ghost. “Ancient stories being passed down from person to person improving its fear.” My refran helps me support this experience because just reading it makes you think how true this is since the legends we have now are scarier than how they used to be. In my artwork I made a dark theme in which the only source of light was a candle. There is a person standing in front of a big ancient book that he has found deep in an unknown cave. The book has all the Legends and Myths told today written in detail as if the people from the past predicted the future.
