Student Biography: My name is Jonathan Gonzalez. I was in Santa Maria California and my family is a family of four.I have a 1978 datsun 280z that I am restoring. After I graduate from high school I plan on going to Alan Hancock and get something relate to being a Highway patrol because after school that’s what I plan on doing. The message that I tried to show in my painting was that some people have more money than most of us combined and other people are also struggling more than us. In the painting there's one person with a bag showing the rich while the other person is walking in with almost money. The rich are painted with an all black suit while the other is painted with shirts and jeans. I then made the skin color of the rich person white since the majority of richest people are white and the regular person is black because blacks tend to be less wealthy. For the bank I tried to make it like old school bank which I got the idea some picture on google the hardest part of doing the bank was the trying to get the color of it done right I ended making a gray than had a more white then adding small amounts of this dark yellow almost like a burnet yellow to make the color that I wanted. For the background I just made it blue like the sky and added some clouds that were white and I was thinking of making them gray and adding rain on the people but except the rich. I ended up not doing it in the end and for the sides I just made them black.
