El Graffiti

Rolando Heredia-Salas

Refran: "the innocent always pay for the thugs offense."

Card Description: none

Student Biography: I was born here in Santa Maria California. My family consists of my dad, my mom, my  little brother, and my sister I have more family but they're in Mexico. My hobbies consist of  playing video games, fixing things around the house, and working on my quads because they're  old and there's always work that needs to be done on them. For my Plans after high school I  was thinking of going to a trade school for welding I would like to do pipe welding.  For my loteria project, I decided to do graffiti because I have a lot of personal  connections to graffiti. I see graffiti almost everywhere here in Santa Maria especially growing  up I would walk home from school and I would see it on the walls. There were times even in  class I would see students taking a sharpie to desks just because they wanna feel rebellious. But  the message im trying to convey in my artwork is that there are times where students will draw  on walls because they want to express themselves freely without anyone judging them on what  they draw
